My ‘If’

I expect slings and barbs, and that’s okay too.

This post is totally a riff on Rudyard Kipling’s poem If. FYI: I do NOT like the poem. I’ve tried to like it, but even in high school, I didn’t like it. However, I can’t help wanting it to be better, more human.
